THE RECORDINGS OF THE RAPPER & SINGER "SLYPHER" FOR THIS VIDEO WERE TAKEN COMPLETELY SPONTANEOUS WITHIN A FEW HOURS. I LATER CUT THIS VIDEO INTO A SONG BY THE SAME MUSICIAN CALLED "YOUR EYES". IT REPRESENTS A BLEND OF A MUSIC VIDEO AND AN ABSTRACT FREE WORK.

INSPIRED BY THE FAMOUS QUOTE OF THE FOUNDER OF THE THEORY OF EVOTION, charles darwin, THIS SLOW BUT VERY EMOTIONALLY STRONG VIDEO WAS CREATED:

"There is grandeur in this view of life, with its several powers, having been originally breathed by the Creator into a few forms or into one; and that, whilst this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been and are being evolved."

In this very abstract video I played with the footage of the artist "raiwun" in after effects and tried out all sorts of overlays and combinations. the song is from "the weeknd" and when i heard it for the first time it was clear to me that this is the right background music for this project

as the name suggests, this video is dedicated to the summer of 2018. it was a special time for me in which i got to know many new artists and worked with them. THE CLIPS FOR THIS VIDEO ARE ALL FILMED IN MUNICH OVER SEVERAL DAYS. I JUST HAD MY CAMERA WITH ME WHEN I MET WITH FRIENDS AND THIS VIDEO WAS NEVER PLANNED BUT THE RECORDINGS ARE FREESTYLE, TAKEN OUT OF THE SITUATION. I JUST HAD THE IDEA FOR THE EDITING A FEW MONTHS LATER. THIS IS WHAT THIS FREE WORK WAS CREATED TO A SONG FROM "THE WEEKND".
